No, you are not required to have a business license. All we require is a Pay Pal account or valid credit card.

Vintage Auction Galleries policy is one account per person.

In order to change your user name you will need to email us at admin@VintageAuctionGalleries.com. This can only be achieved on accounts with no bids or sales currently taking place.

VintageAuctionGalleries.com does not accept Post Office boxes as a form of address. Sellers must use a real address which must be checkable for security purposes.

We do not and will not ever give any personal information such as personal registration information, email addresses, etc. to anyone unless it involves illegal matters and is requested by law enforcement. We have all these details available in our Privacy Policy on site.

Please click "Log in" and use the Lost Password function to reset your password. A new temporary password will be emailed to you. Use the temporary password to log in, then change this password.

At the same location, forgotten log-in names can be retrieved.

For security, Administrators only have access to member's personal information.

Registration is very easy. Click on the Register link at the top of any page and fill in the needed fields. You may use your Pay Pal account or a valid credit card to register. We have added a secure encryption facility for added protection.


If you have a Store, only your Store Front Page is activated, the About Me page is deactivated. Similarly, activating the About Me page will disable the store page.

Go to your "member area", click the "store" icon link. You will have to activate your store for the level you desire. Then proceed to create a store front. You may also upload a logo for your store if you have one. VintageAuctionGalleries.com does allow html, change from basic text editor (white background) to html editor (blue background) by clicking the "<>" toggle, copy and paste the code (or write it yourself) into the editor. Click the "<>" again and see the finished product.

Similarly, you can create your own design using the basic text editor to enhance font, color, tables, highlighted text and alignments. Click "<>", to see the code.
Just follow the other instructions on the "Create Store" page.

By default, all categories will be added. To choose categories, Hold down the Ctrl key (MS keyboard) and click the categories of choice. You can add or remove categories as needed.

Please go to "Details" in your member area to change your password, located at the bottom of the page.

Yes, you can set up keywords in Member's Area under "Auction Watch." You will be emailed when your keywords are hit.

We have a built-in bulk lister which can be found in the Member's area (you will need to register to use this). The bulk lister is very easy to use. Full instructions and examples can be found in your member area.

The new enhancements to the bulk lister will allow eBay PowerSeller's to import their entire listings with just a few mouse clicks.

VintageAuctionGalleries.com members can capture their entire inventory of either open or closed listings.

VintageAuctionGalleries.com does not allow links, redirects or other ads to web sites in item descriptions.

Also not allowed in item ads is personal, business or website contact info. Relevant personal info is given to respective parties when item closes and seller has met the obligations to VintageAuctionGalleries.com.


Allowed links in the item ads are image hosting on the item picture, template designers/providers (copyright info type), feedback logo such as feedback.com or preferred seller logo. Links to other sites are allowed in your "About Me" or "Store Front" pages.

Items or ads with illegal links may be deleted without warning.

As an added feature for Pay Pal verified members, you have the option to choose to allow only other Pay Pal members to bid on your items.

If you are having a problem with a certain bidder making false bids - Go to member area and use "report abuse" link. The sooner you let us know the sooner we can ban them.

Yes, if your spouse has a different Pay Pal address or credit card.

In your member's area you have a choice to not receive the newsletter. You will, however, receive system notices we feel important enough for all active members as stated in our privacy policy.

We strongly advise paying by Pay Pal and using the security features they have in place. Before submitting a payment, contact should be made with the seller by email to make sure the seller still has the items and any other details you may require. Pay Pal also offers a buyer protection program which the seller can quite easily take advantage of from their account.

As always we want buyers to use common sense when making purchases. By using Pay Pal’s facilities there is no reason why anything should go wrong with your purchase.

Lastly, failing all the above, use the "abuse report" link in the member’s area, detailing auction number and title, seller's name and any other information you think would be helpful. Leave negative feedback when appropriate.

We run a massive marketing campaign and strive to become listed on search engines utilizing the latest in Search Engine Optimization.

Abuse Reports are used to file NPB/NSS (non paying bidder or non shipping seller) reports. Keep a copy of all emails you have sent to your buyer or seller. Administration may require copies in determining action to be taken.

Even though we monitor items listed for illegal content, sometimes one may slip by. If you see an item listed that does not follow VintageAuctionGalleries.com’s Trading Policy, you may file an Abuse Report.

Abuse Report links are found on each item listing header and in your Member's Area.

VintageAuctionGalleries.com only allows a small number of countries to verify through credit card, although, if a user has a Pay Pal account they can join from anywhere.

Congratulations! Once a successful auction has closed, the seller will be contacting you shortly. VintageAuctionGalleries.com also has an Instant Payment facility. If you are positive of the total, you can see the seller's details on the first page in your Member's Area. Click on VIEW CONTACT DETAILS.

If you have made multiple purchases from the same seller, you will want to wait for an invoice from the seller.

Congratulations! First, log into your Member's Area, click on SELLING, scroll down to SOLD ITEMS, and click on VIEW CONTACT DETAILS, your buyer's contact information will be there.

It is advisable to make contact with your buyer to verify details, such as amount of items ordered, colour, size or other variables. It is possible that two items were clicked when only one was wanted, and it is better to find out now, than after invoicing, in case of minor computer or system problems.

VintageAuctionGalleries.com has a wonderful Invoicing facility where you may apply any offered discounts for single or multiple items.

Please leave appropriate feedback for your buyer.

Feedback points are given for each item, not unique user. If five items are sold to one buyer, the buyer leaves you feedback, you would get a point for each feedback left. Also, you would score your buyer the same, a point for every feedback left for every item.


Click "My Auction" from the top to take you to the Member's Area
Your live items will be listed first. Next to each item is a link to "sell similar", "edit" or "remove". You can add a similar item by clicking on "sell similar".

If the item has ended, it will be listed below the live items. Check the re-list box, and the delete box, scroll down and click to "Make Changes". If you do not check "delete", the item will remain in the closed section. Any premium enhancements previous listed will remain in effect. If you do not want the premium enhancements, click "Re-list Similar" and you can un-check the chosen enhancements. Then check "delete" after the item has been re-listed.

For an added convenience, you can click the ALL under Re-list and Delete. All items will be checked. Click "Make Changes"

If the Item was sold, you can re-list if you have similar items. Do not delete "sold items" until you have invoiced your customer and left or received feedback.

The location details are supplied in the item headers.


Buyer's and seller's information is made available when all requirements are met. These details are available in the Member area under "selling" or "buying" and "view contact details".

There are two ways to find member's items:
1. Select the "Advanced Search" link at the top of each page below the search box. You have the option of selecting "Auction" "Item", "Seller," "Location," "Buyer," or "Store." Be sure to click the "submit" button instead of the 'enter' key.
2. If you know the seller has a store: On VintageAuctionGalleries.com’s main page, on the left-hand side, at the bottom of the Category section, you will find "Seller's Stores." Click there and search for a particular seller.

Go to an item listed by the seller in question, look to the right hand side in the item headers. The seller's name will have a star if they have feedback. Click on the star. All previous feedback will be documented. Feedback ratings are also posted in a table for quick reference.

While we would prefer not to run off the back of eBay or other auction sites, you can add imported feedback from other sites via feedbacksite.com in your About Me, or Store Front pages.

If there are no bids on the item and there is more than 24 hours to go, then YES. If there are bids on it and/or less than 24 hours you would need to contact admin@VintageAuctionGalleries.com to remove the item. Items can be deleted in the member's area under "Selling".

US auctions usually have USD next to the price and the location of the seller will most likely have a US location. Also, you can use the "advance search" to search by location.

The commissions are automatically deducted from your seller's account. When you sell an item, you can see it in "View Your Invoices" in the member's area at login, or under My Auctions from the front page.

Optional enhancements such as Front Page Featured, Category Featured, Bold and Highlighted items, are automatically deducted from your Seller's Account. You will see these transactions in "View Your Invoices" in the Member's Area.

You can invoice your customers several ways. VintageAuctionGalleries.com has a great invoice, you can use also Pay Pal invoicing function, under Request Money, or a simple email invoice, depending on your chosen payment plans.

Go to your Member's area, your current available or due balance is readily seen (upper right). If you would like to make a payment, you can do so there. Click on "View Your Invoices". You can see the past month. Click on "History" and set the dates, and get your past transactions.

Follow the link in your Member's Area to pay any negative balance. Or go to Pay Pal, send to admin@VintageAuctionGalleries.com.
